IDFA JUNIOR on tour (8+)

Johan is one of the four youth documentaries in the IDFA JUNIOR on tour programme.

It’s the first time that IDFA’s most successful youth documentaries tour the Netherlands. For adults, the IDFA on Tour has existed for several years and attracts more and more visitors. The youth documentary now follows suit. Dutch youth documentary is of a high quality, partly due to the structural support given to young talent by the joint public broadcasters, the Media Fund, IDFA and Cinekid. with the Kids & Docs workshop. The film Johan, for example, emerged from this workshop. Abroad, youth documentaries in cinemas are still rare, and the Netherlands is an absolute front runner in this.

Take your children to the cinema for an hour of pleasure and let them discover that true stories touch them in a different place than the entertainment they receive every day.
