ALICIA, the new film by Maasja Ooms has been selected for the competition programme for best Dutch film. 18 November, premiere at Eye 1, 16:45h. On 19 November, the second screening is at Eye 1, 14:25h, hosted by the VPRO with extended Q&A.

ALICIA is a penetrating, observational film that registers the daily life and deepest feelings of a young girl without a home who is at risk of derailing. The discussion afterwards, between the audience and a panel of professionals in youth care, focuses on the possible impact of the film.
